Replacement heater element made to fit a variety of makes and models of clothes dryers. This dryer element is made to fit a variety of Whirlpool dryer models, including the models listed below. This heating element works when a switch on the motor turns on the heating element, which begins to heat the dryer. When the dryer reaches a pre-set temperature the heating element is turned off. When the dryer temperature falls then the heating element turns back on and heats up the dryer. This cycle repeats until the clothes are dry. If your dryer is able to heat up at all, then it is not the heating element that is broken. 5/16" terminals, 240V, 5400 watt.
