Are you having a problem with your dryer not getting warm enough to dry your clothes? This problem is often due to a bad dryer heating element. Fits clothes dryers from brands including Maytag and Whirlpool. The heater element works when a switch on the motor turns on the heating element, which begins to heat the dryer. When the dryer reaches a pre-set temperature the heating element is turned off. When the dryer temperature falls then the heating element turns back on and heats up the dryer. This cycle repeats until the clothes are dry. If your dryer is able to heat up at all, then it is not the heating element that is broken. Please note that this heating element is an aftermarket part made to fit the clothes dryer models listed. Measures 15 1/2" long x 6" diameter. 240 volts, 5 kilowatts.
