MTD Snow Thrower Replacement Shear Pin & Cotter Pin
Replacement shear pin bolt and cotter pin made to fit a variety of snow blowers and snow throwers. This shear pin connects the auger of a snow thrower to the machine's drive shaft. Pin is designed to break if the auger strikes a solid object. This stops the auger and prevents damage to that part or the auger gearbox. Cotter pin is shaped like a bow tie, pin is used to secure the shear bolt in position. Pin snaps through the bolt. Shear pin measures 1/4" x 1 3/4". This pin fits models from brands including for Craftsman, MTD, Yard Man and Troy Bilt.
